Fink’s Jewelers, Frugal MacDoogal & David Yurman Unite to benefit Fighting Kids Cancer℠

Charlotte, NC — On September 10, 2025, Fink’s Jewelers hosted an elegant private event in partnership with Frugal MacDoogal, bringing together community leaders, philanthropists, and racing legends — all to support a cause that truly shines: The Life Ring Foundation’s mission of Fighting Kids Cancer℠.

Guests gathered at Fink’s Jewelers’ SouthPark location for an evening of fine jewelry, top-shelf spirits, and heartfelt giving. Among the attendees were NASCAR legend Jeff Gordon, Hendrick Automotive CEO Jeffrey Brown, Chief Revenue Officer NASCAR Kurt Weinhardt, President & CEO of Nucor Leon Topalian, and various additional leaders, whose presence underscored the community’s deep commitment to making a difference beyond the racetrack, office, or showroom.

The event featured exclusive jewelry showcases from Rolex and various other designers, luxury tastings curated by Frugal MacDoogal (special thanks to Jerry Bottom), a live auction featuring 9 premier bottles of bourbon, and stories from President of the Life Ring Foundation, Kelly Woolwine, telling his family’s story and sharing other Ambassador’s stories and how they have been impacted by the dark world of pediatric cancer and blood disorders— a powerful reminder of why The Life Ring Foundation’s work is so vital and bringing light to this world.

Roanoke, VA – On October 30, 2025 Fink’s Jewelers hosted a second private event in partnership with David Yurman, bringing together Roanoke’s community leaders, loyal Fink’s clients, and passionate supporters of Fighting Kids Cancer℠. Surrounded by stunning new pieces from David Yurman’s latest collection, guests enjoyed fine hors d’oeuvres, delicious beverages, and meaningful conversation — all in the spirit of giving back for kids and families battling pediatric cancer & blood disorders.

Throughout the evening, attendees had the opportunity to learn more about The Life Ring Foundation’s work in funding new resources for the pediatric oncology & hematology program alongside Carilion Clinic, aiming to ensure more families can access top-tier care close to home.

As guests left with shimmering new treasures and full hearts, one thing was clear — when community, compassion, and craftsmanship unite, remarkable things happen for children and families in need in Southwest Virginia.

A portion of proceeds of all 2024 and 2025 private events hosted by Fink’s Jewelers benefited The Life Ring Foundation’s Fighting Kids Cancer℠ campaign, which is providing critical resources for kids battling pediatric cancer and blood disorders in Southwest Virginia. Fink’s Jewelers has supported the Life Ring Foundation campaign since 2023, sponsoring Charlotte’s Play Yellow Celebrity Invitational each year at Ballyhack Golf Club and serving on the Fighting Kids Cancer Committee (thank you, Marc & Suzy Fink!).

Through Fink’s Jewelers generous partnership, over $132,000 has been contributed to Fighting Kids Cancer℠. The Life Ring Foundation® is honored to have Fink’s Jewelers support in helping to save kids who are battling cancer locally and making an urgent, positive impact.
